Tennis Club AGM well attended

TENNIS CLUB AGM WELL ATTENDED

The Barraba Town and District Tennis Club Inc held its Annual General Meeting on Tuesday 15 October at the Barraba Bowling Club. The meeting was well attended, with special guest Ellie Ryan, Tennis Australia’s Northern Districts Development Officer (based in Gunnedah).

Officer Bearers elected were –

President – Heath White

Vice President – Dale White

Treasurer – Tracey Thompson

Acting Secretary – Jeanette Hiller (while Amie Middlemiss is overseas)

President Heath White reported that the Tennis coaching camp conducted by Jarrod Campbell in the school holidays was successful and well attended – it is hoped that coaching will continue this school term with weekly after school coaching classes.

Teams are being finalised for the term four Night Light Competition starting Tuesday 22 October at 6.30 pm – it is not too late to join but hurry!  It is hoped that a junior competition, particularly for those who attended the Coaching Camp, will run at the same time, supported by some of the parent Club Members.
