Golf Notes

 Whilst Chris Sweeney was being modest when he said he rode his luck with a chip in and a couple of lucky breaks his score of 36 Stableford points proved far too strong in the Gary and Sandra Allan Polkadots trophy on Sunday. The overall scores showed that the course is playing longer with Ian Cabot, Dave McMurtrie and Mike Artis joint runners up all on 29 points. There were no NTPs claimed.

 Next week we will play our annual 18 hole Mixed Foursomes Championships This annual event is for the L and V Bridges Memorial trophy whilst the Mixed Net winners play for the Lions Club trophy.

Those players without a mixed partner will contest an Individual Stableford for a trophy donated by Firmen Allan. 

On Sunday 23rd we will play a Stroke event for a trophy donated by Mal Stein and Ron Bridges. At the completion of golf on the 23rd we will hold our annual AGM. It would be nice to see a good attendance of members for the AGM.
