Council seeks volunteers for Barraba and Nundle Australia Day Advisory Panels

Tamworth Regional Council is seeking Expressions of Interest for volunteers to join the Barraba and Nundle Australia Day Advisory Panels.

Panel members will play an active role in reviewing the Australia Day Award nominations, with a panel of different members formed for each location. The Panel’s recommendations will be presented to Council for endorsement to determine the Award recipients for each town. Successful candidates will be appointed for a 3-year term.

Expressions of Interest close at 4pm on Thursday 13th October, 2022.

Tamworth Regional Council Place Manager Lisa Hannaford said that Council encourages any resident in Barraba or Nundle interested in getting involved to apply.

“We’d love to see local residents represented on the panel, to ensure we appropriately acknowledge the great work of both communities through the Australia Day Awards”, she said.

Expression of Interest forms are available on Council’s website. Expressions of Interest for the Nundle panel can be found at https://www.tamworth.nsw.gov.au/about/forms/nundle-australia-day-advisory-panel-expression-of-interest.
