Barraba Rotary Club projects
Following the article in the Community News about Barraba Rotary Club and its happenings and needs, we have had some interested people attend our meetings, some of whom have decided to become members or to assist with our fund raising of Charity money, which is allotted to projects here in Barraba.
These fund raisers are the Rotary Campdraft, held twice a year, when possible, and the Rotary Christmas Stocking. Our major project at the moment is to assist the Barraba Pre-School to attain their aim of an amphitheatre in the Pre-School grounds.
In order to keep the Barraba Rotary Club active and in existence we need more members, if interested in being a Rotarian or helper please come to a Rotary meeting. Rotary meetings are held twice a month on the SECOND and FOURTH Wednesday’s, held at the Commercial Hotel here in Barraba, meeting at 6.30pm for 7pm finishing around 8.00pm, followed by a social time and a meal – should you wish to stay after the meeting.
The next meeting is on Wednesday 13th April and we would be very pleased to have anyone interested attend.
