Rifle Club report 13th Nov 21

Rifle Club

Saturday 13th November at the range was cold and windy but saw five shooters take part in the Centrefire morning event with Darren coming close to a perfect score of 299 and others were all up in the high 90’s.

In the afternoon for the .22 Benchrest we had seven shooters, both Brendan and Ron scored possibles, congratulations to you both.

Other shooters were up there also shooting in the 90’s.

The boys decided that it would be a good idea to make the last shoot of the year a bit of fun, so last Saturday they just shot six rounds at the 100m for the .22 Benchrest and the normal three in the Centrefire. They had the winner of each round then handicapped for the next round, banter was thrown back and forth between them and they all enjoyed the day. 😊

There were quite a few possible scored, Dallas - 1, John - 3, Brendan - 3, Andrew – 3, Darren – 3 and Ron close with a 99. Royce join in for his first shoot and he enjoyed the afternoon and his scores weren’t  too bad.

We all enjoyed a bbq lunch in the middle of it all and the rain held off until after the last round.

Shooting will resume on 5th February 2022 and I would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
