Today we played an Individual Stableford for Phil Hiscock’s trophy. The winner, with the excellent score of 40 points, was Josh Austin ahead of runner up Rob Sweeney on 36 points. Balls went to Bill Simpson 35 and Chris Sweeney on 32. There were a number of players just below the ball threshold on 31. The only NTP was from Jesse Phillips with a great shot into the 12th. In the only match play games Josh Austin and Luke Smith had a strong win over Peter Summerell and Mike Artis 6 and 5.
Next Sunday 7th September is a 4BBB Aggregate Stableford for Mick Djuric and John Freeman’s trophy. The week after, September 14th, is an Individual Stableford for Graham Bowman’s trophy.
A heads up also, that on Sunday 21st September is our very popular 4 Person Charity Day for Breast Cancer so start to organise your teams on what is always a wonderful day.
We are holding a working bee on Saturday 13th September at 8am to oil the greens in preparation for our Sandgreen Championships in October. Any help would be much appreciated.
