After winning the chook last week on a countback, Luke Smith put the boot into the handicapper this week and came in with 23 points to be the clear winner. Handicapper has returned fire. Ball winners were Rob Sweeney 22, Bill Simpson and Sam Knight 21, Shayne Middlemiss and Charlie Cordingley 20 and Fermin Allan, Adam Scanlon and Ian Cabot with 19. With one week to go "Next Gen" (Corey Jordan, Cooper Chapman, Jack Myers and Dusty Hiscock) on 269 lead by 6 over "Eagle Hunters" (Luke Smith, Charlie Cordingley, Ryan Austin and Thabiso Msiza). Really good work by the young fellas as they have only won 2 chooks and 2 balls between them - just turn up and good solid scores. Next on 259 is "Stock and Crop" (Richard Pudicomb, Simon Koopman, Neil Smith and Ian Cabot), "Who Gives a Put" (Kevin Smith, Peter Summerell and Kevin Hawkshaw) 255 and "The Bogey Men" (Adam Scanlon, Nick Shapter, Chris Sweeney and Rob Sweeney) and "The Wouldbes" (Liam Johnston, Shayne Middlemiss, Jesse Phillips and Paige Phillips) both on 252. The rest are preparing for next year and working out what went wrong.
