Golf official 2023 season comp closes

Golf Notes.

Sunday ensured a good closure of our official 2023 golf season competition. Eleven year old Josh Anderson partnered with his Grandmum, Lyn Groth, to card an excellent plus 14 to win the John Hartley and Tim Bucknell 4BBB v Par trophy. It’s a special win as Lyn, when a young girl, was enjoying her sub junior golf and now 50 years on her grandson is sharing the same enjoyment with his family. Congratulations Josh and we hope you continue enjoying your golf.

Runners up on Sunday with Plus 9 on a countback were Kevin Kelaher and Rob Sweeney from Gary Allen and Rodger Fisher with Peter Simpson and Sam Knight carding plus 8. NTPs went to Kevin Kelaher on the 3rd and Lyn Groth on the 18th.
